Procedures for granting a certificate of conformity

Place of Deposit Application for Conformity Certificate

The application is deposited at the municipal headquarters level against a deposit receipt.

The file is transferred to the State's interests in reconstruction within 8 days.

Matching Certificate Application File

The application file consists of a permit to complete the work in two copies against a deposit receipt.

Request Study

The application file is examined by qualified interests charged with reconstruction in consultation with the interests of other sectors concerned.

The mayor shall issue a traffic notice 8 days in advance to the applicant.

The record of the verification of conformity is written by a committee comprising the interests concerned, particularly civil protection.

Delivery of conformity certificate

The Chairman of the competent Municipal People's Council regionally handed over the building permit.

Act No. 08-15 of 20 July 2008 establishing the rules for the conformity and termination of buildings

This law allowed for the regularization of the status of buildings, not on the conformity certificate completed before 2008.

Conditions for the benefit of the settlement under this Law:

Buildings were completed only before July 2008, the date of promulgation of the law.

Buildings completed on land with title to the property.

Buildings that are incomplete whether or not they respect the building permit.

Unfinished buildings completed without a building permit.

Completed buildings that did not respect the building permit.

Completed buildings completed without a building permit.

They are not concerned:

Buildings completed in tourist expansion areas, cultural, archaeological, and historical areas, ports and airports, peasants and forests.

Buildings completed without respecting safety and security rules or those that obstruct public facilities and equipment.

Buildings completed in hazardous areas and those completed in coastal strip and fragile buildings.

The issuance of a certificate of conformity shall be subject to payment of a fee valued according to the cases as follows:

For residential buildings (houses, apartments, villas, chalets, condominiums...).

For buildings with commercial or industrial use (shops, warehouses, factories, hotels...)
