Certificate of reconstruction in Algeria
Composition of reconstruction certificate application file:
The reconstruction certificate application must be submitted for planning authorization and the attached file in (05) five copies. The required documents are:
• Application including subject matter, landowner's name, address, plot area, and land registration references if any.
• Site plan and land plan according to the appropriate scale.
Place of filing of reconstruction certificate application:
• File is deposited directly at the municipal headquarters level where the plot is located against a deposit link.
File Study:
• The reconstruction certificate application file is examined before the reconstruction department in consultation with other relevant sectors.
Issuance of the reconstruction certificate:
• The mayor issues the reconstruction certificate.
• The Department has a period of (02) two months to respond to the request for a reconstruction certificate.
• The Department can extend this deadline to a maximum of one year if the preparation and reconstruction tools are subject to review.
• The Administration's silence does not amount to tacit approval of the request but opens the way for an appeal against this omission.
• When the author of the reconstruction certificate is not satisfied with the administration's response or if the competent authority is silent on his application after two months, he can appeal to that authority or bring a case before the competent judicial authority.
Validity of the reconstruction certificate:
• The validity of the reconstruction certificate is estimated at one year (1) from the date of the owner's notice.
Fee on real estate licenses:
• The fee for the issuance of the reconstruction certificate is estimated at 2,000 DA.
